The system includes secure RBAC, section level access restrictions, and ingestion from PDFs, URLs, and SharePoint. Dashboards, reporting, and full UAT were completed before handover.

The solution combined time-series forecasting (XGBoost), price elasticity modeling taking into account the discount passthrough rate, and a simulation engine to test the possible change in volume on account of changing discount values. We partnered with a major UAE retail chain to streamline procurement oversight and reduce financial leakage by implementing an AI-powered anomaly detection and vendor risk scoring platform.

We deployed an intelligent analytics engine that scans purchase transactions, invoices, POs, and GRNs from their ERP in real time. Using machine learning based anomaly detection, the platform automatically flags abnormal pricing, duplicate invoices, quantity mismatches, and unusual charge patterns. For example, if an item normally purchased at AED 12 per unit is suddenly billed at AED 28, or if a PO and invoice show mismatched quantities, the system instantly highlights the discrepancy for review, preventing over billing and process gaps.

We also built a dynamic vendor risk scoring model that continuously evaluates suppliers based on delivery timelines, product quality issues, historical audit findings, return rates, and payment behavior. The risk score updates automatically as new data flows in. For instance, a supplier with frequent late deliveries and repeated credit note adjustments may see their score rise from 40 to 82, while consistent improvement in on time performance lowers risk back into a safe range.

With automated alerts, integrated dashboards, and unified data visibility across procurement, finance, and operations teams, the retail chain now proactively identifies risks, reduces operational leakages, and improves supplier performance, all powered by real-time AI insights.
